Consumer Whoristry.

AS YOU KNOW, I'VE ORDERED A NEW COMPUTER. Not "requested", nor "asked politely" nor queried if maybe sometime soon in the not-so-distant future could the computer that I chose and paid for be delivered to me unharmed. So of course it's natural that a week and a half later, not having said computer I'm beginning to grow impatient. I WANT IT NOW, DAMMIT! So, what does one do when one is anticipating a new gadget? If one were me, one goes shopping. And so I did. Because, along with my new computer I require the various and sundry gadgets that might accompany it. Specifically, I went looking for a monitor. I went to Future Shop and to Best Buy, and I think I've made a decision, for now. Of course, I haven't actually made the purchase, that would be too simple. But while I was at Future Shop, I found something in the store that I've coveted, and thought I was going to have to order online. The Belkin Concealed surge protector. Quite a genius device aiding in cable management and power supply. Of course, I took photos.

Stylish, eh? "but where are the outlets" you may be asking, but as you recall, this is the belkin concealed surge protector. The outlets are concealed. The front opens to reveal:

The Outlets! Not so concealed any more, are they? There are 11 of them. 10 on the inside, 6 regular sized and 4 spaced for those foolish block plugs that are the bane of every common surge protector. The eleventh is on the right hand side, in the open to allow for quick access to a single commonly used item. I don't know how often I'll use this one, since most of my stuff stays plugged in all the time, but perhaps I'll find a use.

No new gadget is complete without sexy obscure close-up product shots. I could fit more adjectives into that sentence, I just don't feel like it.

Oooh. Artsy.

If anyone from Belkin is reading this, and wants to hire me as a product advert photographer, drop me a line. Really. Anything is better than crappy tire.
